General Legal Counsel.

Hourly:
- No upfront retainer required.
- You call/email for advice on an issue, we hit the clock and send an invoice for our services at the end of the month.
- All invoices payable 30 days after receipt.
Subscription:
- You pay an initial subscription fee to us (in trust, similar to a conventional retainer).
- You call/email for advice on an issue, we hit the clock and send an account summary at the end of the month showing how many unused hours remain based on your subscription package.
- Your initial subscription fee is held in our trust account and only invoiced against once work is performed.
- If you run out of subscription hours, you can renew for a further subscription package by paying a further subscription fee to us (in trust).

Corporate-Commercial Matters.

Hourly:

Fixed Fee:
- Depending on the nature/scope of your matter, we may be able to offer our services on a fixed fee basis.
- At the conclusion of our work for you, we send an invoice for the agreed fixed fee, payable 30 days after receipt.
- The more details you’re able to provide, the better we’ll be able to assess your matter’s suitability for a fixed fee structure.
- Usually reserved for repeat clients – the better we know you, the more comfortable we feel estimating the amount of time/effort required on our end.
Incorporations & Corporate Records Management:
- We offer fixed fee pricing to clients for incorporation of BC-registered companies.
- If desired, our office can also serve as the registered & records office for your BC-registered corporation(s) and take care of routine filings with the BC Corporate Registry for an additional fixed fee, charged annually.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution Services.

Hourly:

- You call/email for advice on an issue, we hit the clock and send an invoice for our services at the end of the month.
- All invoices payable 30 days after receipt.
Contingency Fee:
- Depending on the nature of your dispute, we may be able to offer our services on a contingency fee basis.
- You only pay a percentage of any amount recovered at the conclusion of your matter.
- Due to the ‘risk-sharing’ nature of a continency fee model, this option is reserved for disputes in which there is a strong legal basis (to be assessed by us) for amounts claimed to be owed to you by another party, but for which you are unable to finance upfront litigation/ADR legal costs on an hourly basis.
- The more details you’re able to provide, the better we’ll be able to assess your claim’s suitability for a contingency fee structure.
